.Net Software Developer

Description:

This position is responsible for developing well designed, testable, efficient code consistent with company coding standards and best practices. This position works as part of a larger development team focused on driving innovation across the whole application.

• Develops testable, efficient code consistent within company coding standards and best practices.
  Participates in cross-team information sharing and works to identify deficiencies in the development process.
  Collaborates with product owners regarding project requirements, tasks associated with each sprint, and long term project plans.
  Participates in daily Scrum sessions, providing updates and project estimations, as well as code reviews.
  Tests software against technical specifications and documentation.
  Authors and maintains software test cases for new software development projects.
  Assists in troubleshooting software application issues.
  Works on the migration of legacy applications to current technologies.
  Supports the deployment of software releases.
  Participates in brainstorming sessions and contributes ideas to company technology, algorithms and products.
  Remains current on industry news and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology or related degree.
  Minimum of 3 years of related experience or training, preferably in an agile software environment.

  Programming Languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#
  Scripting Languages: Classic ASP (VBScript), JQuery
  Web Technologies: HTML (incl. v5) CSS, JavaScript
  Required Web Frameworks: JQuery
  Desired Web Frameworks: Sass, Bootstrap
  One or more of the following: MS-SQL, Entity Framework or Dapper XML, JSON
